Line Wide Gathering 2024
N/ALine 3 Indigenous Advisory and Monitoring Committee (Line 3 IAMC): Line-Wide Gathering 2024
The Line-Wide Gathering (LWG) is an annual event organized by the Line 3 Indigenous Advisory and Monitoring Committee (IAMC). The purpose of the Gathering is to bring together impacted Indigenous Nations and Regions along the Line 3 (now, Line 93) pipeline corridor. The LWG is an event for the Committee to directly engage with the Nations and Regions to provide updates on post-construction activities and to celebrate the work accomplished over the past year.
At the LWG, Indigenous Nations and Regions have the opportunity to voice their concerns to the Committee by sharing their knowledge and experiences. This event seeks to create mutual understanding and to build capacity for meaningful participation in the monitoring of Line 93. This enables the Committee to identify key priorities and provide informed advice to the Government of Canada and the regulator regarding the oversight of environmental, safety, and socio-economic aspects of the project.
