The Line 3 Indigenous Advisory and Monitoring Committee (Line 3 IAMC) is inviting Line 3 impacted First Nations and Métis leadership to our 2026 Line-Wide Gathering taking place October 14-15 at the Grey Eagle Events Centre on Tsuu T’ina Nation territory near Calgary, Alberta.
Who Should Attend?
This year’s Line-Wide Gathering invites leadership from Line 3 impacted Nations to attend and participate in Committee updates and to share perspectives on the future direction of the Line 3 IAMC.
Elected Chiefs/Métis Presidents of Line 3 impacted Nations are prioritized to attend the event, or delegate attendance to other leadership or staff of their choosing.
Line 3 IAMC will cover travel, accommodation and honoraria for up to 2 leadership or leadership directed participants from Line 3 impacted Nations.
If more than 2 individuals per impacted Nation or Métis Region register, Line 3 IAMC may contact registrants to confirm attendance.
Please note: Line 3 IAMC Line-Wide Gathering is open to Line 3 impacted Nations only. Find the list of Line 3 impacted Nations here.
What will be discussed?
This year’s 2026 Line 3 IAMC Line-Wide Gathering will focus on leadership-specific updates on the partnership work of the Committee, Emergency Management, Indigenous Monitoring and more.
The event will include an overview and introduction of the Line 3 IAMC, Indigenous Caucus and Partner panels on the future of the Committee, and most importantly multiple opportunities to hear from Line 3 impacted Nation leadership on future priority areas of work for the Committee moving forward.

Travel Supports
Travel and accommodation to attend the 2026 Line-Wide Gathering will be covered by Line 3 IAMC for approved participants. Additional information will be provided with participants ahead of the event.
Territory Acknowledgement
We would like to acknowledge the Line 3 IAMC Line-Wide Gathering will be taking place on Treaty 7 Territory, specifically the lands of the Tsuu T’ina Nation. Treaty 7 is home to the traditional territories of the Niitsitapi (Blackfoot) Confederacy [Siksika, Kainai, Piikani, Amskapi Piikani], and the Îyârhe Stoney Nakoda Nations [Goodstoney, Chiniki, Bearspaw]. Treaty 7 is also home to the Métis Nation of Alberta.
