Two-Day Technical Workshop | March 19th & 20th, 2025
The Line 3 Indigenous Advisory and Monitoring Committee (IAMC) is excited to invite you to Training for Indigenous Regulatory Involvement (TIRI) Workshop.

Note: The training materials are the same as previous TIRI sessions, if you have already taken the training, we reserve the right to put you on a waitlist.
What to Expect:
- Learn about Canada Energy Regulators (CER) regulatory review process for pipeline projects and opportunities for Indigenous involvement.
- The workshop has been designed for wide participation from Indigenous Nations involved in the Line 3 IAMC.
- Development of the TIRI course was a collaborative effort between Apeiron Environment Ltd. (Apeiron), the Line 3 IAMC, the CER and other partners such as the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT).
Participants are required to register in Digital Chalk to complete three (3) pre-requisite TIRI modules before the two-day workshop. Instructions how how to access them can be found here.

Who may attend this engagement?
The workshop is intended for individuals from impacted nations, priority will be given to anyone who has not yet attended previous TIRI sessions.
Are there any pre-requisites or required materials?

Please bring your own devices (laptops or tablets) and headphones/earbuds. If you require the use of a loaner device or equipment please contact us.
Notebooks, exercises, pens/pencils, and rulers will be provided. We only ask that you are willing to participate in open discussions and practical exercises.
What’s included for all participants?
Travel arrangements (airfare or mileage) and accommodations (hotel stay starting Tuesday night).
Daily honoraria, meals, and a daily allowance for dinners and incidentals.
A flat-rate travel claim form will be circulated ahead of the meeting.
