Biography
Anita Kuipers joined Natural Resources Canada in 2014, in the Office and Energy Efficiency (OEE) where she led the Executive Council for the Canadian Industry Partnership for Energy Conservation and worked with industry through OEE program funding to apply operational energy efficiency systems.
Following her time with the OEE, Anita assumed a position with the International Energy Branch where she negotiated Canada’s interests at the G7 Energy Table as well as Memorandum of Understands (MoU) with several key partners.
Before joining Nòkwewashk, Anita led the team within the Nuclear Energy Division responsible for international cooperation, the Indigenous Advisory Council for Small Modular Reactors and stood-up the Diversity and Inclusion Road Map.
