EMPI Community Interest Survey Now Open for Continuous Intake
The Line 3 Indigenous Advisory and Monitoring Committee (IAMC) has reopened the Community Interest Survey for the Emergency Management Planning Initiative (EMPI).
As implementation continues, the IAMC is maintaining a continuous intake process to ensure eligible Line 3-impacted First Nations and Métis governments have an opportunity to express interest as community readiness and program capacity evolve.
The survey helps us better understand community interest, readiness, and emergency management planning needs so that supports can be planned and offered in a fair and equitable way.
Important Notes
- If your community has already completed this survey, you do not need to complete it again.
- Completing the survey does not commit your community to participate.
- Communities that complete the survey may be invited to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) as a next step.
- Participation is subject to community readiness, program capacity, and available funding.
EMPI provides fully funded support for:
- Community Risk Assessments (HIRA)
- Development or updating of Emergency Management Plans
- Incident Command System (ICS) training
- Tabletop Exercises
- Quick Reference Guides (QRG)
All services are delivered by approved, contracted consultants.
