Enbridge’s Line 3 Replacement Program

The Line 3 Replacement Program will replace 1070 kilometers of the 50-year-old Line 3 with new pipeline and associated facilities from Hardisty, Alberta to Gretna, Manitoba. Line 3 is a $5.3 billion investment and is the largest project in Enbridge’s history.

A New Way of Working Together

Co-developed by Indigenous Peoples, the Government of Canada, and the National Energy Board, the Indigenous Advisory and Monitoring Committee forms the basis of renewed and enhanced relationships in the Line 3 corridor.

Involving Indigenous Peoples in Monitoring and Oversight of Line 3

The Committee enables Indigenous Nations to identify common priorities and provide informed advice to the Government and the National Energy Board regarding the monitoring and oversight of environmental, safety, and socio-economic aspects of the Line 3 project. It provides a collaborative forum to share knowledge, create mutual understandings, and build capacity to participate in the monitoring of the Line 3 project.
