Environmental Monitoring of Aquatic Ecosystems

A virtual course focused on providing participants with the skills to conduct environmental assessments and monitoring of aquatic ecosystems

Wetland and Watercourse Monitoring Training

This educational program focuses on monitoring the health of wetlands and waterways

traditionally used by Red River Métis Citizens and First Nations Peoples along the Enbridge

Line 3 Corridor in Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Alberta.

March 7th – Introduction to Wetlands and Monitoring

March 14th – Wading into Seasonal and Semi-Permanent Wetlands

March 21st – Deep Dive into Permanent Wetlands

March 28th – Watercourses and Emergency Planning

Intro to Environmental Inspection

This virtual training will bring an Indigenous lens as environmental professionals and inspectors share their experience, plus information and tools to provide a basic foundation in this exciting area of work.
