DESCRIPTION:Line 3 IAMC Regional Engagement Sessions 2026\nAlberta\nJune 24 – 25\, 2026\nRiver Cree Resort and Casino – Edmonton\, AB\nThe Line 3 Indigenous Advisory and Monitoring Committee (Line 3 IAMC) is inviting Line 3 impacted First Nations and Métis government representatives in Alberta to our 2026 Regional Engagement at the River Cree Resort and Casino in Edmonton\, Alberta on June 16 & 17\, 2026. \nYour Voice\, Our Shared Path:\nLine 3 IAMC Regional Engagements\nThe future of the Line 3 Committee isn’t decided in a boardroom\, it’s shaped by you. \nWe will be gathering to share updates on our work\, but more importantly\, to listen. This is your invitation to help steer the direction of the Line 3 IAMC. \nWhether you are looking to share technical expertise\, cultural wisdom\, or fresh ideas for the future—please join us. \nSee Agenda \nLearn more about the work of Line 3 Indigenous Advisory and Monitoring Committee HERE. \nWho Should Attend?\nThis year’s regional engagements will focus on the technical aspects of Line 3 IAMC’s work. We are looking for a vibrant mix of perspectives to ensure our work is grounded in community priorities\, including: \n\nEnvironmental Technicians & Land Managers: Share the “boots on the ground” experience from the land.\nIndigenous Monitors & Guardians: Lend your expertise in monitoring and protection to help improve how we monitor together.\nKnowledge Keepers & Elders: Guide us with the traditional knowledge and values that must remain the foundation of this work.\nYouth (18 to 24): Help us build a legacy and ensure the next generation’s priorities are front and centre.\n\nPlease note: Line 3 IAMC regional engagement events are open to Line 3 impacted Nations only.\nFind the list of Line 3 impacted Nations here. \nShaping Our Collective Path: What We Will Build Together\nWe are creating a space where ideas are explored and shared in real-time\, ensuring the path forward is one we build together. \nBy joining the circle\, we will work together to: \n\nEstablish a Shared Foundation \nDefine Priorities and Direction \nBridge Regional Voices to the 2026 Line 3 IAMC Line-Wide Gathering \nFoster Reciprocal Learning\n\nSee Agenda \nA detailed agenda with specific session times and programming will be provided ahead of the event. \nTravel Supports\nAttendees will receive a participation package totaling $1\,200. \nThe travel allocation is a flat rate intended to help offset the full range of travel-related costs\, including airfare or mileage\, meals\, and any additional personal expenses you may incur while attending the event. Accommodation is fully covered. The daily honoraria is provided in recognition of your time\, presence\, and contributions\, and is issued for each day you participate \nA cheque will be provided on site upon completion of the workshop. \nPlease note: If more than four individuals per impacted Nation or Métis Region register\, Line 3 IAMC may contact registrants to confirm attendance. \nTerritory Acknowledgement\nWe would like to acknowledge that we are gathered on  Treaty No. 6 Territory\, specificlaly the Enoch Cree Nation.
